The island, beach and the sea is beautyful.
Many many mosquitos. Only one bungalow have mosquitonet.
Restaurant and room dirty, poor equipment. No facility. Pigs near restaurant. Food not edible. We have to buy own yogurt, whitsh the staf take it till morning...garbage dump neer the bungalows. Management -10 point. His not interested nothig...
Pity for such a beautiful place.

but not helpless, areas to explore on your own or with a group to far side of island. Be a beach comber.

Fantastic accommodation on an otherwise basically uninhabited motu. Magical white coral sand beach! Service fantastic, transport ((30-45 min boat ride, a little depending on weather) worked perfectly. Excellent food and very nice staff. The only negative was that there were a lot of mosquitoes. When we come back to Rangiroa in a couple of years we will definitely definitely stay at Aotera Guesthouse again.
