This is a very unique property in a great location near Manitou Springs. We had booked a 2-room suite and when we checked in, we were upgraded and enjoyed a bit more space for 3 people. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our lodging included 2 separate rooms and a kitchenette. Everything is bicycle-themed with fun decorations and a cozy feel. The common space has a big fireplace, seating area and lots of space for the morning breakfast. We didn’t take advantage of it, but there was a great bar on-site as well and lots of games available for use. Since it was cold and icy, we couldn’t check out the free bikes, but I would like to return in warmer weather to take advantage of those and to spend more time in the beautiful surroundings. We will be back!

I've stayed here for business multiple times over maybe 5 years. On this trip I realized that the facility itself is tired. The rooms are showing their age. The shower curtain bar is pulling free from its anchors on both ends. The air handler is really loud and irregular in any setting. The walls are super thin (I got to hear a play-by-play commentary for one entire basketball game from the room next to mine). The breakfast offerings are always the same every single morning. The coffee in the breakfast room really sucks. I also noticed that over my three night stay there was not one single tidying up visit or soap and towel replacement. Maybe that's SOP everywhere now, but I was a little surprised and disappointed. I'm afraid I'll be looking elsewhere on my next trip.

Newly remodeled room was spotlessly clean. Nice biag windows for view of the mountains. Staff was very nice and seemed to truly enjoy their jobs and their coworkers. In house bar and pizza restaurant were great! Breakfast buffet had lots of options- biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, ham, pancakes, fresh fruit, oatmeal, tons of pastries, etc. Only negative was that they are still working remodeling the hallways. The construction noise started around 930a daily. If you are a late riser, maybe check before you go to make sure the remodel is done. We will stay here again our next trip though!

The hotel is just OK. Not bad, not great. We had out 2 kids and 2 dogs, and were on a month-long roadie, so it fit the bill pricewise. The room had been updated not too long ago (but not too recent either). Location is excellent for visiting Garden of the Gods. And as I mentioned, they do allow dogs. Right next door to a Chik-Fil-A as well as a Family diner-style restaurant. One incident that kind of irked me I will share: it was late and I had some work to finish while my family was going to bed so I headed to the lobby. On my way over, there was a guy smoking right next to the door and my room was right next to the door as well, so his smoke outside wafted into my room (not cool), so I let the mgr know and she huffed like it was a big deal for her to stop what she was doing, but she did go talk to him. Then she comes back and the TV in the lobby is blaring some reality TV show where people argue and yell at each other, so I asked her politely, since nobody else was in the lobby, if she would turn down the volume SOME; her response (not joking) ”Yeah, Im watching that.” and then it dawned on her that maybe that wasnt waht she should have said, again huffed and said ”...but I can.” and then muted it. Was pretty shocked that she would tell a customer that, but again, not exactly Ritz Carlton White-Glove treatment expectations here. Other than that, the stay was fine. Breakfast was fine. Internet worked well. Beds were fairly comfortable. Room was large. Would likely stay here again.
